Alliance Security is a New York Tri-State leader providing engineering, installation and service/repair of high-end security systems and solutions for a premier portfolio of clientele. Alliance Security is currently looking to fill the position of Senior Service Technician. The role will perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities which consist of coordinating, planning, and installing video surveillance technologies – CCTV, and access control security technologies.
This position will report to the Manager of Installation Services – Alliance Security.
- Install or service new and existing security systems, including web-based and cloud-based security and CCTV systems
- Test, adjust, and troubleshoot security systems and related equipment or hardware
- Test and troubleshoot low-voltage continuity issues
- Resolve firewall configurations and networking system developments
- Handle various emails, phone calls from other team members and the management team, work orders, paperwork, and perform job planning activities
- Make recommendations for security system enhancements
- Act as liaison between client and manager of installation services
- Assist the service department as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and time management skills
- Update and manage CRM software to document installation or service activities
- Bachelor's or technical degree preferred
- Minimum of two (3) years’ experience in the security technology industry
- Strong knowledge of security concepts and technology platforms: video, access control, intercom, intrusion, visitor management, turnstiles, and network devices
- Maintain certification training: AMAG, Genetec, Lenel
S2, Exacq, Brivo & Eagle Eye - Strong fundamentals of networking technologies and IT principles
- Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends and overtime
- OSHA 40 required
- Possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to drive the company-provided commercial vehicle; maintain vehicle at residence and commute to/from job locations
$80,000 - $85,000
HoursMonday to Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
