Requirements

Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment preferable.
High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
Trade license preferred in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.
Valid driver's license required for the applicable state.
Acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record (MVR) that is property‑specific is required.

Responsibilities

Support operational maintenance and repair of equipment.

Replace light bulbs and perform preventive maintenance in guest rooms, including vinyl repairs, minor touch‑up painting, and furniture repairs.

Conduct preventive maintenance on ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, laundry appliances, HVAC systems, guest rooms, meeting rooms, swimming pool, and hot tubs.

Execute plumbing repairs, laundry equipment maintenance, and preventive upkeep on all exhaust fans and supplies; monitor energy conservation efforts; repair vacuum cleaners and other small equipment as requested.

Promptly respond to alarms to ascertain location and cause, assess emergency status, and communicate findings to the Front Desk.

Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
