The Telecom Technician will work alongside and/or assist the crew lead for cable, fiber, and telecom technicians in the execution of low voltage infrastructure work orders and projects. The position requires travel throughout New York State and will work both indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

• Installation of outlets, pulling cable, fire stopping and pre-termination including organizing, forming, dressing and labeling cable to industry standards
• Terminate, assemble and install 8‑pin modular connectors and coaxial and light crimp connectors
• Perform various wireless installations and troubleshooting
• View and print traces

• A minimum of 1 year of related work experience
• Previous telecommunications, electrical wiring or construction experience
• Must be able to lift 100 lbs and pass a post offer pre‑employment physical assessment test
• Possess a valid NYS Driver’s License and have a clean driving record
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
