Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and construction, capable of reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials with precision to create structures and fixtures that meet our quality standards. This role requires a dedicated professional who can work independently or as part of a team to complete various carpentry projects, including residential and commercial builds, renovations, and repairs.
The Carpenter will be responsible for ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to client specifications, maintaining high standards of craftsmanship. - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions to plan carpentry projects.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, drywall, and other materials accurately.
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and frameworks.
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other team members to ensure project specifications are met.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and building codes on job sites.
- Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Ability to read technical documents and blueprints thoroughly and accurately.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry machinery.
- Good understanding of basic math, measurements, and calculations related to carpentry work.
- Strong physical stamina and dexterity to operate in demanding environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid carpenter’s certification or relevant vocational training preferred.
