Lead Cabinet Installer & Finish Carpenter – High-End Residential

Pay: $35.00–$49.00/hour, based on experience and leadership
Location: Brooklyn & Manhattan
Job Type: Full-Time | W2 | Year-Round Work

Kitchen Tune-Up Brooklyn is hiring a Lead Cabinet Installer & Finish Carpenter for high-end residential kitchen projects in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

This is not a general carpentry role. We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented professional with strong experience in cabinet installation, finish carpentry, trim work, refacing, and on-site problem solving
.

You should be comfortable leading installs, managing helpers, working in occupied homes and apartments, and representing the company professionally with clients on site.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead kitchen cabinet installations, refacing projects, and finish carpentry work
  • Install cabinetry, panels, fillers, crown molding, trim, and hardware with precision
  • Make clean field modifications and solve site conditions without compromising quality
  • Lead and direct helpers/installers on site
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, building staff, and the office
  • Keep jobs moving efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in cabinet installation, finish carpentry, or kitchen remodeling
  • Strong skills in trim work, scribing, fillers, panels, and detailed finish work
  • Ability to lead a project on site with professionalism and accountability
  • Experience working in high-end homes or apartments preferred
  • Fluent English required
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must own basic carpentry hand and power tools
