Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic - Brooklyn. In this role, the successful candidate has working knowledge of all trades: electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC and works on associated systems and equipment. Capable of following manufacturer assembly sketches and drawings and simple blueprints.
Job Responsibilities- Knowledge of how to operate chillers, absorbers, and Co-Gen.
- Good knowledge of boiler operations and troubleshooting.
- Capability to perform plumbing work on valves, traps, etc.
- Experience performing water testing and chemical treatment.
- Install, maintain, and repair pumps, compressors, motors, fans, etc.
- Maintain, repair, and adjust heating and cooling systems controls.
- Maintain, repair San‑I‑Pak machines and sterilizers.
- Repair different rolling equipment (beds, stretchers, crash carts, etc.).
- Good knowledge of electrical wiring and capability to replace parts.
- Maintain and repair fire alarm system and sprinkler system.
- Install and repair hardware on doors, windows, lockers, and other equipment.
- Maintain and repair carwash, dishwashing machines, kettles, etc.
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school graduate preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in all trades: electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC.
- Working knowledge in the operation and maintenance of all equipment components in the power plant.
- Excellent grasp of all trades.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

SalaryThe salary range for this role is $73,836.05 - $73,836.05 annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The listed salary range does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation.
