Diesel Mechanic 2nd Shift

Position

A. Duie Pyle is looking for an experienced, skilled 2nd shift Diesel Technician to join our Fleet Maintenance team at our Maspeth, NY shop.

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour based upon experience and skillset.

Shift Differential: $3.00 per hour.

3:00 PM start time, Monday through Friday.

Overtime pay after 40 hours.

Weekly pay via direct deposit.

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs to heavy‑duty trucks.
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems, etc.
• Diagnose and perform necessary repairs to the engine, electrical, and exhaust after‑treatment systems.
• Inspect and replace general components as required.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks.
• A complete set of hand tools for a heavy‑duty truck technician.
• Vocational or technical training in diesel or heavy‑duty vehicle experience; HS Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and grow your abilities.
• Ability to work independently with a "can‑do" attitude.
