Job Title

Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech II) – United Rentals

• Perform minor repairs including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Preventive maintenance services on truck and trailer equipment including replacing/rotating tires, completing vehicle component lubrication and replacement, some electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance on gas and diesel engine vehicles.
• Ensure vehicles are well maintained and safe for our customers.
• Maintain clear and accurate and timely service records or work performed, repair logs, and parts.
• Ability to perform all duties in a safe manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Under limited supervision, performs manual and maintenance tasks as well as minor repairs of equipment.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience.
• This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals’ policies and procedures.

Compensation Range: $29.00 - $45.00
