Position OverviewOrder a Plumber Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced
New Construction Plumber
to join our growing team. We are looking for an individual who takes pride in their craftsmanship, follows direction well, works with urgency, and consistently exceeds expectations. The ideal candidate understands the importance of meeting deadlines, completing all phases of a project, and maintaining high-quality standards from start to finish.
This is an opportunity for a self-driven professional who takes ownership of their work, communicates effectively, and can execute daily responsibilities with minimal to no supervision.
Responsibilities- Install plumbing systems in commercial and residential new construction projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
- Rough-in and finish plumbing installations according to project schedules and code requirements.
- Coordinate work with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to maintain project timelines.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and thoroughly each day.
- Ensure all phases of work are completed correctly and on schedule.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges in the field.
- Uphold company standards for quality, professionalism, and workmanship.
- Take ownership of projects and ensure all work meets or exceeds expectations.
- Communicate job progress, material needs, and potential issues proactively.
- Minimum 3 years of new construction plumbing experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, methods, and code requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Proven ability to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and perform in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various job site conditions.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
