HVAC Project Specialist

As a Project Specialist/Welder worker with our Hoffman Mechanical, you will become part of a team of stellar employees who are highly valued and skilled. As a member of our team, you will plan, lay out, repair and install sheet metal products, parts, and when needed assist with installing HVAC equipment.

• Utilizeandinterpretblueprintstodeterminehowandwheretofabricate,assembleandinstall sheet metal products
• Measure,markdimensionsandlayoutmaterialtobeinstalledusingtoolssuchasscribes, rulers, calculators and squares
• Fastenjointsandseamsinsheetmetalwithsolder,welds,caulk,boltsandmetaldriverclips, ensuring work is done carefully and bonds will last
• Installassemblies,includingpipes,HVACducts,flashings,rainguttersandfurnacecasings in supportive frameworks
• EnsurethatefficiencyismaximizedwhilefabricatingandinstallingHVACsystems
• Usehandandpowertoolstotrim,buff,smooth,fileandgrindmetalsurfacesandjointsof parts that have been assembled to ensure safety and a seamless appearance
• Selecttheappropriatetypeandgaugeofsheetmetaltobeusedinprojectsaccordingto specifications
• Ensuresafetyisapriorityonthejobduringallactivities,includingusingtoolsandinstalling and fabricating metal
