SummaryInstalls custom millwork by performing the following duties:
Duties and Responsibilities- Arrives at job location and prepares site for installation.
- Installs millwork for residential and commercial customers.
- Works with power tools to measure, cut and install millwork.
- Repairs, installs, and troubleshoots in accordance with company guidelines.
- Communicates with customers and office as needed.
- Observes work in progress and follows all safety procedures including the wearing of personal safety equipment.
- Cleans up waste and leaves customer’s site in as good or better condition than when job was started.

Education/ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one year related experience as an installer in similar field, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language AbilityAbility to read and interpret plans or layouts, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math AbilityAbility to add, subtract, and take measurements.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to diagnose complex problems and troubleshoot. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near or at construction sites; work in high, precarious places and outdoor weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wood dust or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
