Gerhart is looking for CDL Field Technicians with experience in heavy capacity weighing equipment. This is your chance to work on challenging, high-impact projects and grow your career while getting rewarded for your expertise.
What You’ll Do:- Operate our Test Truck/Rig to install, calibrate, and maintain weighing equipment in the field
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with heavy capacity systems
- Capability to lead projects and mentor peers on job sites
- Identify opportunities to help customers improve operations and provide solutions
- CDL Class B (preferred; we’ll compensate current CDL holders)
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- General mechanical or electrical background
- Customer-focused mindset and a self-starter attitude
- Ability to work outdoors in all conditions (heat, cold, dust, and dirt)
- Familiarity with industrial service tools; welding experience is a plus
- Basic understanding of 120
VAC/DC wiring - Strength, stamina, and willingness to bend, crawl, and lift up to 50 lbs safely
