About the Role:

Breakaway Logistics is seeking a skilled and motivated E-Bike Mechanic to support our fast-growing, high-volume delivery operations. This is a hands-on, field-based role supporting our fleet of electric cargo and commuter bikes across multiple work sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain electric bikes used in daily operations

Work extensively with Bosch motor and battery systems (certification preferred)
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and urgent repairs to minimize downtime

Travel between multiple work sites to address equipment needs quickly and efficiently

Maintain daily work logs, including clear documentation and photo proof of completed repairs

Communicate repair status and issues to direct supervisors at the end of each shift

Ensure bikes are safe, compliant, and operational to meet daily demand

Support a high-utilization fleet where timely repairs are critical to operations

Required Qualifications:

3–5 years of experience repairing and building electric bikes

Strong working knowledge of Bosch eBike systems (certification strongly preferred)
Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues independently

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Self-starter mindset with strong problem-solving skills

At least one weekend day availability required

Preferred (Not Required):

Own professional bike tools

Own personal e-bike for easy movement between work sites

Experience supporting fleets or commercial delivery operations

Familiarity with cargo bikes and high-mileage e-bike maintenance
