About the Role

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium‑sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This role supports engineering and technical services by providing preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment support.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose problems, and complete repairs.
  • Assist installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Review work orders and track completion.
  • Support energy management to ensure system efficiency.
  • Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Solve straightforward problems using established procedures.
  • Deliver outcomes following defined processes under supervision.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Physical ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift/carry loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Follow basic work routines and standards.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Facility Management certification preferred.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, performance appraisal, retention (preferred).
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, effectiveness.
  • Advanced math skills (percentages, fractions, financial calculations).
  • Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
