Job Overview
Hospital maintenance employees are responsible for maintaining the extensive heating, air‑conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systems in hospitals. Additional duties may include minor welding, plumbing, electrical repairs, and carpentry repairs to walls, roofs, windows, or ceilings. Employees may work independently or as part of a crew.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED/TASC required
- 1 year minimum experience
- Proof of trade or vocational program
- Proper licenses and certifications required
- All positions are in hospitals and nursing homes. These facilities are open 24 hours/7 days each week.
- General shift availability:
- Days (7a‑3p or 8a‑4p)
- Evenings (3p‑11p or 4p‑12a)
- Nights (11p‑7a or 12a‑8a)
- Every other weekend is usually required for all positions.
Vaccination is required.
