Bruni & Campisi, proudly serving the community for over 40 years, is seeking an Electrical Helper/Apprentice to join our growing team in Elmsford, NY. In this role, you'll support experienced, certified electricians as you learn the trade hands-on. You'll assist with residential electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations while developing the skills needed to advance in the field. Responsibilities:- Assist With Electrical Installations – Comfortable with supporting electricians with installing electrical services, panels, breaker replacement, outlets, switches, fixtures, and other basic residential components.
- System Inspections – Help with visual inspections and basic electrical testing under supervision
- Troubleshooting Support – Assist in identifying issues and preparing tools and materials for diagnostics
- Customer Interaction – Maintain a professional and respectful attitude when speaking with homeowners
- Code Compliance Support – Follow instructions to help ensure all work meets national, state, and local codes
- Service Call Assistance – Support job setup, cleanup, material handling, and site organization.
- Documentation – Assist with recording work performed using an iPad & Service Titan (training provided)
- Safety Practices – Follow all PPE requirements, safety standards, and job-site procedures
- Customer Service – Contribute to a clean, professional, customer-first service experience on every job
- Experience – Minimum 3 years of residential electrical field experience
- Electrical Knowledge – Familiarity with wiring, devices, circuits, and basic electrical components
- Basic Electrical Hand Tools – Must have electrical hand tools
- Eagerness to Learn – Strong desire to grow, follow direction, and support electrical journeymen
- Communication Skills – Able to follow instructions and interact professionally with customers and team members
- Attention to Detail – Takes pride in neat workmanship, organization, and safe practices
- Service Software – Experience using an iPad or tablet is a plus (training provided)
- Driver's License – Valid license and reliable transportation required
