Commercial Plumbing Technician
The Commercial Plumbing Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems in commercial properties. This role requires a strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a commitment to getting the job done!
Responsibilities- Install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and gas lines.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify plumbing issues.
- Work on large-scale commercial fixtures such as water heaters, boilers, pumps, back-flow prevention devices, and other specialized systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, project managers, and clients.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and job site conditions.
- Provide excellent workmanship and represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
- 3+ years of experience in commercial plumbing (preferred).
- Valid plumbing license or certification (if required by state).
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various environments (indoor, outdoor, confined spaces).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Requirements:
- Proven plumbing experience (residential and/or commercial).
- Knowledge of modern plumbing methods, codes, and materials.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented mindset.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Pay: $28.00 – $40.00 per hour, paid weekly.
