Job Overview

Mobile Engineer – Responsible for operating, inspecting, and maintaining HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment across assigned facilities in Queens, NY and surrounding areas.

• Operate, inspect, and maintain all HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment and systems to achieve efficient operating results and extend life expectancy.
• Ensure equipment operates in an energy‑efficient and safe manner, minimizing downtime through proactive repairs and accurate record keeping.
• Perform inspections and repairs of interior and exterior property areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, lighting, and other equipment.
• Focus on troubleshooting and repairing facility equipment on all HVAC/R systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and repair work orders on mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems.
• Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC/R systems, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, interior/exterior building repairs, grounds, and production equipment as required.
• Study equipment specifications and operating methods to perform daily activities efficiently.
• Conduct facility inspections and due diligence, reporting conditions that affect client occupancy and operations.
• Submit P‑card receipts daily and update work order status in real time.
• Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo for all work performed.
• Maintain a valid state driver’s license and availability for call‑in work.

• Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment).
• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering with strong HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of overall system design and applications.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial refrigeration and/or supermarket refrigeration.
• High school diploma or GED required.

• Experience utilizing CMMS (work order) systems.
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Two years of trade school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration, and HVAC.

Queens, NY (on‑site). Standard business hours with on‑call availability.

Estimated range: $110,260 – $88,208.64 per year. Final compensation determined by qualifications, market conditions, and internal factors.
