Industrial Electrician Supervisor - Underground
Gouverneur, New York, United States
Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage the electrical team.
- Prioritize, coordinate and layout work for the day.
- Inventory, schedule, and order materials and supplies for upcoming work.
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairing electrical components, including PLC panels, drives, motors, fans, VFDs, transformers, pumps, and generators.
- Work with 4-20 mA, 4160, 13.8, AC up to 480v, 5kva, DC voltages
- Read and follow prints.
- Assist the electrical team underground and on surface as needed.
- Capacity to develop knowledge of hoisting/crushing operations troubleshoot same.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial electrical experience.
- Minimum 3 years in leadership role.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other department managers and employees.
- Time management skills.
- PLC experience.
- DC/AC/Drive experience.
- Able to comprehend written and verbal instructions as required to perform his/her duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Must be able to perform the work without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of self or others due to the safety sensitivity of tasks.
- Ability to work in the US.
