Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs sheet metal parts, equipment, and products by performing the following duties.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesReads and interprets blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine methods of fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products.
Install ductwork for new HVAC construction projects
Lay out and mark dimensions and reference lines.
Select the appropriate type and gauge of sheet metal to be used in projects according to specifications.
Use hand and power tools.
Requirements and QualificationsExperience with sheet metal and a variety of tools.
Construction experience.
OSHA/SST certifications.
Speak English/ Spanish is a plus.
