As an Electrician/Apprentice, you will plan installations to minimize waste of materials and ensure access for future maintenance. You will be responsible for measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and installing electrical conduit. Additionally, you will pull wiring through conduit, label it appropriately, and mount control components, conduit, wiring, and terminations. You will also locate, mount, and terminate end devices such as temperature sensors, relays, and electronic actuators.
The ability to learn to work off a set of electrical and mechanical prints is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Plan installations to minimize material waste and provide maintenance access.
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit.
- Pull wiring through conduit and ensure proper labeling.
- Mount control components, conduit, wiring, and terminations.
- Locate, mount, and terminate end devices like temperature sensors, relays, and electronic actuators.
- Work from electrical and mechanical prints.
- Training will be provided.
Essential
Skills:
- Ability to perform pipe bending and wire pulling.
- Knowledge of conduit installation and electrical schematics.
- Basic experience with electrical installation.
- Interest in learning building control systems.

Work Environment:
You will work primarily on the first shift from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with the potential for a four-day work week consisting of 10-hour shifts. You will be working alongside a tenured technician in diverse settings, including schools, churches, and potentially prisons, which may involve prevailing wage work. Travel requirements may involve driving up to an hour, with drive time compensated.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
