We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic in Brooklyn.

In this role, the successful candidate will have working knowledge of all trades: electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC and work on associated systems and equipment. Capable of following manufacturers assembly sketches and drawings and simple blueprints.

• Operate chillers, absorbers, Co‑Gen.
• Good knowledge of boiler operations and troubleshooting.
• Plumbing work: valves, traps, etc.
• Perform water testing and chemical treatment.
• Install, maintain and repair pumps, compressors, motors, fans, etc.
• Maintain, repair and adjust heating and cooling systems controls.
• Maintain, repair San‑I‑Pak machines and sterilizers.
• Repair rolling equipment (beds, stretchers, crash carts, etc.).
• Electrical wiring: replace parts, knowledge of electrical systems.
• Maintain and repair fire alarm and sprinkler systems.
• Install and repair hardware on doors, windows, lockers and other equipment.
• Maintain and repair carwash, dishwashing machines, kettles, etc.

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school graduate preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in all trades: electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC.
• Working knowledge of operation and maintenance of all equipment components in the power plant.
• Excellent grasp of all trades.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

The salary range for this role is $73,836.05 – $73,836.05 annually. Actual salaries depend on various factors including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
