Overview
We’re looking for motivated, engaged people to keep a 24/7 facilities operation running smoothly across various property locations.
CompensationHourly Rate: $25 - $29.79 per hour.
Responsibilities- Maintain mechanical, electrical, and life safety equipment as well as the appearance of facilities and grounds.
- Assist with scheduling and oversight of contractor work, ensuring safety practices, quality, and cleanup.
- Perform building repairs: drywall, paint, wallcovering, ceiling tile and grid, carpet and tile flooring, door hardware.
- Perform plumbing repairs: faucets, sinks, urinals, toilets, drains, valves.
- Execute exterior repairs: irrigation, signs, fence, roof, metal siding.
- Conduct daily site inspections of facilities and mechanical equipment.
- Carry out preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment, creating equipment check sheets as requested.
- Report identified problems to the Maintenance Coordinator.
- Repair HVAC systems, including boilers, air conditioning units, VAV boxes, exhaust fans, building automation controls, and filters.
- Perform electrical repairs: replace lamps, ballasts, switches, receptacles, cord caps, wiring of single and three‑phase motors, install circuits.
- Manage work requests, maintain inventory spreadsheets for tools and supplies, create online purchase orders for parts and supplies.
- Coordinate office furniture reconfigurations, furniture moves, and office moves as needed.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 full years of recent related experience.
- Working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
- Must pass company testing for welding.
- Sheet metal mechanic skills.
- Ability to obtain an Airport Transport Authority badge.
- Ability to obtain a Customs Seal for the Airport Transport Authority badge (if required).
- Good written and oral communication skills.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Work ExperienceRequires at least 2 full years of recent related experience.

- Regularly stands, walks, bends, lifts, and moves during shifts of 10+ hours.
- Potential temperature and noise discomfort in a normal production kitchen facility.
- Must lift 25 lbs.; push, pull, or maneuver 50‑75 lbs.
- Work outdoors 50% of the time.
