We are looking for a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our local and regional team in a fast‑paced and welcoming environment. The role involves executing routine maintenance tasks to uphold the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart Stores, equipment, or fixtures.

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Can lift up to 50 lbs. at a time
• Can move up and down ladders frequently
• Comfortable working at heights frequently
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Able to work in various temperatures
• Hold a valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
• Vocational or Technical certification and 1 year experience, or 2 years total work experience, in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade

• Vocational or Technical Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) certification and 2 years experience in mechanical maintenance or construction‑related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls OR 4 years experience in mechanical maintenance or construction‑related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls or related field.
• Type I/Type II Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for refrigerant handling.

• Completion of a 2‑year Vocational or Technical HVAC/R program.
• Mechanical license in city and/or state where the job is located.

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment) and hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders, support Store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.
