Appliance Technician II

Our client, a leading organization in the hospitality and gaming industry, is seeking an Appliance Technician II to join their team. As an Appliance Technician II, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the technical operations of the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Salamanca, NY Pay Range: $24.40 - $27 Shift: Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday 7-3

What's the Job?
  • Service, repair, replace, and maintain walk-in and reach-in freezers, refrigerators, ice makers, and milk coolers, including replacing components such as motors, Freon, belts, and thermometers.
  • Repair, descale, maintain, and replace dishwashers and water heaters, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Maintain and repair pumps, valves, belts, filters, bearings, gears, and motor parts.
  • Install and repair electronic ovens, convection and standard ovens, steam kettles, and other kitchen appliances.
  • Install electrical lines, run conduit, pull wires, and repair motors, switches, and appliance cords to ensure safety and efficiency.
What's Needed?
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in kitchen equipment repair.
  • Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, electronic, and refrigeration methods, current technology, and principles related to institutional kitchens.
  • Understanding of current refrigeration technology and EPA regulations.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to resolve problems tactfully and effectively.
