Payand Benefits
Starting salary of $25‑$32 per hour, depending on experience. Stable hours for financial stability. Boot reimbursement worth an additional $200 per year. Schedule and LocationMonday – Friday, every week. Shift: 5:00 am to 3:00 pm. Rotational Saturdays. Normal setting: a repair/maintenance shop at the Quogue, NY hauling site.
Responsibilities- Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
- Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
- Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
- Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
- Conduct safety checks on vehicles; prioritize employee and community safety.
- Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and repair times.
- Assist senior Mechanics in project work.
- Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and established safety procedures.
- 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Over 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without accommodations.
- Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical.
Physical effort includes frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; constant standing, walking, and grasping; occasional sitting and balancing. Exposure to cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes. Work is performed inside a garage/shop and outside under inclement weather, heat, and humidity.
