Facilities Maintenance Manager

Position Overview

• Maintains daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports, inspections, and service logs as required.
• Performs preventative, diagnostic, and corrective maintenance on company equipment.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, modifies, overhauls, or refurbishes standard and special‑purpose equipment and systems.
• Conducts HVAC, plumbing, and electrical maintenance as needed.
• Handles troubleshooting of production equipment and reads electrical schematics.
• Maintains on‑site service logs and service books.
• Completes CAR requests for capital expenditures and coordinates vendors.
• Works flexible shifts and hours, including overtime as needed.
• May travel up to 50% of the time.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of some mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or technical school training.
• Four‑year degree from college or two‑year degree from a technical trade school is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic/technician.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a facility maintenance manager or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Strong technical aptitude and follow‑through.
• In‑depth knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance.
• Excellent electrical, plumbing, and mechanical diagnostic skills.
• Mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing license(s) is a plus.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Comfortable interacting with all levels of employees.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining focus on priorities.

• Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 10+ hours.
• May experience physical discomfort due to temperature and noise.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move products, equipment, supplies, etc., in excess of 25 pounds.
• A rotating schedule of over 55 hours per week is typical.
• Works overtime as needed.
