Engineering - HVAC & Refrigeration

Salary US $ 16.00 to $20.00 per hour, plus gratuities. Are you ready to take your career in hotel engineering to the Grand level! At the Grand Hyatt we are looking for individuals to be part of our future engineering team. You will be part of the most anticipated resort opening on Grand Cayman in years. We are seeking experienced hotel engineering technicians for the role(s) of HVAC & Refrigeration Technician within our engineering department.

• Assisting with the operation, maintenance, service and repair of equipment as assigned.
• Participating in the preventative maintenance program, handling guest requests and other work orders as assigned.
• Performing the job in a safe and efficient manner and performing trade jobs, such as electrical, carpentry, painting, plumbing, etc.

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of HVAC/Refrigeration experience; hotel experience is highly advantageous.
• Daikan VRV systems experience desired.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must provide a clean police record.
• Must be able to work without supervision.
• Must communicate well with others in a polite, professional and engaging manner.
• Hours of employment will vary and may include hours between 11pm and 7am, 6 days per week including holidays.
