Electrician Helper

Job Summary

Electrician III position is primarily responsible for assisting in the maintenance of electrical and lighting systems for billboards.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring and lighting systems
• Learn from others
• Troubleshoot and repair systems related to digital LED signage
• Assist other electricians with work
• Follow local building codes and the National Electrical Code
• Apply knowledge of NFPA
  70E, OSHA, and safe work practices
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested

• Education and
  
  Certifications:
  
  Apprentice Electrician or Apprentice Sign Electrician
• Valid in‑state driver’s license suitable for light commercial vehicles
• Mathematical acumen: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Access to a reliable vehicle

• Work outdoors in seasonally inclement weather
• Occasional exposure to heat, cold, poisonous plants, and insects

The Targeted Compensation Rate for this New York position is $21.00 per hour. Roles are overtime eligible. Some Union roles are eligible for Productivity Pay as governed by your CBA. All Union Employees are governed by Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA).
