Barton Mines Company is hiring a full-time Millwright for our North Creek, NY operation.

What You Will Do
- Perform advanced mechanical maintenance, repair, fabrication, and installation of industrial equipment.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to safely install, align, and secure machinery.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and support reliable production through preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Use welding, fabrication, rigging, and mechanical skills to complete repairs and equipment improvements.
- Follow safety procedures, use required PPE, and work cooperatively with operations and maintenance team members.
This position works Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., with overtime required as necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on industrial maintenance skills.
- Clean driver's license.
- Five years of industrial machine maintenance, repair, and fabrication experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
- Two years of professional welding experience.
- Vocational or technical training in a skilled trades field.
- New York State Plant Maintenance Mechanic Certification.
