The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Field Service Technician who is responsible for providing on-site technical support, installation, maintenance, and repair services on adhesive and dispensing equipment.

This role involves traveling to customer locations, diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service.

The Field Service Technician will also work closely with the sales team, assisting with equipment specifications for new projects.

This is a remote role, which requires daily travel. You must reside in the Dallas, TX. area to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Setup:
    • Install and configure equipment and systems at customer sites according to specifications.
  • Maintenance and Repair:
    • Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
    • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, making necessary repairs or adjustments.
    • Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools and test equipment.
  • Customer Support:
    • Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers, addressing and resolving their issues promptly.
    • Educate customers on the operation and maintenance of equipment.
    • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction with services provided.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Complete service reports, detailing the work performed and parts used.
  • Travel:
    • Travel to various customer locations as required, sometimes on short notice.
    • Maintain flexibility to accommodate varying work schedules, including overnight stays.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
  • Possess mechanical dexterity to perform equipment operation.
  • Frequently moves items weighing up to 25 lbs. Occasionally moves items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
Required

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by both car and airplane.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
