Amtrak - - Responsibilities:
Inspect, testing and maintain locomotives and rolling stock equipment in accordance with FRA and Amtrak standards and guidelines;
Diagnose, test, repair of air systems, and air brake equipment;
Preventative maintenance of locomotives; move Locomotives;
Calibrates pressure switches and valves in compliance with 49
CFR and Amtrak established standards;
Operate lifting/hoisting equipment;
Knowledge of internal combustion engines (diesel theory)
