The Pest Control Field Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. In this role, the technician conducts inspections of commercial and residential properties to identify pest activity, potential entry points, and environmental conditions that contribute to infestations. Day-to-day responsibilities include applying appropriate treatments, implementing IPM strategies, maintaining treatment equipment, and documenting service visits with accurate records and reports.
The technician communicates findings and recommendations to clients, provides guidance on preventive measures, and follows safety, regulatory, and company standards at all times. The role also involves coordinating with the office team on scheduling, route planning, and customer follow-up to ensure timely, reliable service.
- Strong pest management skills, including Pest Control and Integrated Pest Management (IPM), with the ability to assess, treat, and prevent infestations.
- Experience or aptitude working with pest-related tools, products, and treatment methods, following safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Clear and professional communication skills for interacting with clients, documenting services, and collaborating with team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or pest control certifications are a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to travel throughout the New York City Metropolitan Area.
- Ability to work in varied environments, including basements, rooftops, and outdoor areas, and to lift and carry equipment as needed.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to safety, customer service, and continuous learning in pest management best practices.
- Experience and current pest control licensing are preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Part-Time with potential to transition to Full-Time
