About the Role
Lead HVAC Installer responsible for the installation of HVAC equipment, ductwork, fittings, and control wiring. Ensures projects stay within budgeted labor hours, performs duct pressure testing, manages truck stock levels, trains helpers, and maintains high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Arrive at the job site at the scheduled time as dispatched
- Lead the install team to achieve production efficiency and quality standards
- Troubleshoot, adapt, and resolve/repair all issues that may impair equipment functionality per manufacturer specifications
- Explain proper operation and maintenance to customers and answer related questions
- Complete required electronic documentation for each installation, recording accurate readings and observations
- Obtain customer authorization of documentation and collect payments as directed
- Keep the installation manager informed of job progress and report any issues that could delay or exceed budget
- Ensure the installation team works neatly, disposes of material properly, and respects customer property
- Maintain knowledge of our products and services, pursuing additional study and training as necessary
- Set and pursue goals and objectives, reviewing progress and seeking assistance as needed
- Communicate effectively with associates, superiors, vendors, and customers
- Provide excellent customer service and encourage referrals
- Demonstrate superior interpersonal skills
- Accurately list and order materials and supplies
- Work within time constraints, budget limits, and pressures
- Manage time and schedules efficiently
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Continuously learn through supplier training, trade shows, seminars, independent study, and other employees
- Operate company vehicles safely, recognizing and avoiding dangerous situations
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Physically able to work on HVAC units
- Work in extreme cold or heat depending on season
- Prolonged standing, kneeling, crawling, or ladder climbing
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Minimum of 3‑4 years of driving experience
- Over 21 years of age
- Prior experience as a Lead HVAC Installer preferred
- Sign‑on bonus up to $5,000
