ArcPoint Electrical Solutions Inc. provides comprehensive electrical testing, maintenance, fit outs, renovations and technical services to facilities across the Tri-State area.

This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Electrician will perform installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in commercial, industrial, and critical facility environments. Day-to-day work includes diagnosing electrical issues, conducting troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, supporting emergency response calls, and ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently. The role involves working with switch gear, transformers, and other electrical infrastructure, following technical standards, documentation requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

The Electrician will collaborate with technicians, engineers, and facility teams, maintaining clear records of all work performed and using ArcPoint’s asset management technology for tracking and reporting.

• Strong foundational knowledge of electricity and electrical principles applicable to commercial and industrial facilities.
• Hands‑on experience with electrical work, including installation, wiring, and system upgrades.
• Proficiency in maintenance & repair of electrical equipment, with a focus on reliability and safety.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving electrical faults and performance issues.
• Familiarity with electrical engineering concepts as they relate to power distribution, switch gear, and transformers.
• Working knowledge of NEC standards and local electrical codes; experience with NYC Local Laws is a plus.
• Relevant electrician license or certification for the New York City Metropolitan Area.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and test reports.
• Comfort working in critical environments (e.g., data centers, hospitals) and responding to emergencies.
• Strong attention to detail, safety-focused mindset, and ability to work collaboratively on-site.
