Lead Carpenter

We are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team for ongoing commercial construction projects throughout New York's Capital Region. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong carpentry skills, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and experience supervising small crews.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project layouts
• Perform and oversee metal stud framing and general carpentry work
• Lead and coordinate a crew of 23 carpenters/laborers
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
• Communicate effectively with project managers and jobsite personnel

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Lead Carpenter
• Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
• Experience with metal stud framing
• Ability to lead and motivate a small crew
• Reliable transportation and willingness to commute up to 30 minutes to jobsites throughout the Capital Region
