Location: New York
Electrician – North American Touring Production of Stomp
Opening for Electrician – North American Touring Production of STOMP.
Individual will be responsible for ensuring that the technical and aesthetic standards of the show’s lighting are regularly met at all venues.
General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Keeping open lines of communication with Lighting Director and Production Manager
- Maintaining the electrics equipment
- Updating show paperwork
- Working with local crews on load-in, performance, and strike
- Performing preset show duties
- Executing show cues as well as changeover and post show duties in a safe, professional and timely manner
- Other duties as assigned
Qualified candidates must have prior touring experience and extensive background and relevant expertise in theatrical lighting/electrics. Substantial experience in maintaining and repairing production equipment is required. Basic carpentry skills are preferred. Moreover, applicants must be safety conscious, detail-oriented, organized, and articulate; maintaining a positive, affable disposition while working is critical.
Tour Information
Dates: on/about November 1, 2026 through and including June 13, 2027
Locations:
United States, Canada
Route: includes one-nighters, split-weeks, and week-long stays (with unpaid layoffs)

Compensation is $1,250/week salary non-exempt + $399/week per diem + single occupancy housing + an option for company subsidized medical insurance.
In accordance with STOMP's COVID-19 Safety Policy, applicant must be fully vaccinated and have received a booster.
All touring company members must have a passport valid through December 2027 and must be able to pass the required checks to enter Canada. Valid driver’s license required. Due to requirements from a third-party vendor, the driver’s license must be from the same state in which candidate claims residency.
