Our customer is looking for a Heavy Truck Technician with strong electrical diagnostics experience to join their dynamic team in Congers, NY. ABOUT YOU:
The ideal candidate would have 3+ years' experience working with diesel repair.
This role offers the opportunity to work on specialized emergency vehicles, perform critical repairs, and develop your skills through ongoing training.
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, and other heavy-duty systems on emergency vehicles
- Conduct vehicle maintenance including tire service, shocks & struts, wheel alignments, and electrical diagnostics
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues
- Fabricate or modify parts using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques as needed
- Follow safety protocols diligently while performing repairs and maintenance tasks
- Document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately in service records
Estimated pay for this position range $38 to $48 an hour. Pay is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities and internal equity
