This role supports multiple construction and renovation projects across New York City, performing both electrical installation tasks and general labor duties during various phases of jobsite development. You work on new construction and renovation projects, assisting with conduit installation, wiring, cable pulling, and blueprint reading while also handling general labor responsibilities in early project stages.
ResponsibilitiesSupport multiple jobsites across New York City for electrical new construction and renovation projects.
Perform general labor duties on jobsites in early stages, including site preparation and material handling.
Install and bend conduit according to project specifications and safety standards.
Pull wire and run cables as needed for electrical systems throughout the project.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to complete electrical work accurately.
Assist with and perform electrical tasks such as running conduit and pulling wire when required.
Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure smooth project progress.
Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE and tools on every jobsite.
Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly store tools and materials.
Adapt to changing jobsite needs and transition between general labor and electrical tasks as needed.
Hands-on experience with electrical work in new construction and renovation environments.
Ability to bend conduit and install it safely and accurately.
Proficiency in pulling wire and running cables for electrical systems.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical schematics.
Comfort performing general labor duties on active construction sites.
Experience working on construction jobsites with multiple trades.
Strong awareness of jobsite safety practices and procedures.
Capability to work reliably across multiple jobsites in New York City.
Skills & Qualifications
Basic hand and power tools required for electrical and construction tasks.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) suitable for construction sites.
OSHA 30 certification.
Site Safety Training (SST) certification.
Ability to work Monday through Friday on a consistent schedule.
Reliability and punctuality for early morning start times.
Willingness to perform both electrical and general labor work as project needs evolve.

Work EnvironmentYou work across multiple jobsites in New York City on new construction and renovation projects. The typical schedule runs from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The environment is an active construction setting where you use basic hand and power tools, wear appropriate PPE, and move between electrical tasks and general labor duties depending on the phase of the project.
You operate in a fast-paced, field-based environment that requires adherence to safety standards and comfort working outdoors and indoors on various building types.
This is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
