Field Network Technician - Internet Service Provider

This company is looking for an experienced Field Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot fiber, Ethernet, and wireless network infrastructure across residential and commercial environments. The role offers hands‑on exposure to a range of networking technologies, significant independence in the field, and opportunities for long-term progression within a growing ISP.

Responsibilities:

• Install and terminate Cat5/Cat6 cabling
• Splice, terminate, and troubleshoot fiber
• Install and configure wireless access points
• Configure routers, switches, and network equipment
• Deploy and align PTP/PTMP wireless radios
• Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues
• Test and document completed installations
• Maintain clean, professional network installations

Skills/Must Have:

• 5+ years low-voltage/telecom experience
• Strong Cat5/Cat6 installation and termination
• Fiber splicing and troubleshooting experience
• Wireless networking experience
• Router and switch configuration knowledge
• PTP/PTMP wireless radio experience
• Strong independent troubleshooting ability
• Comfortable working on rooftops and ladders
• Ubiquiti, Mikro Tik or Siklu highly desirable
