AMR is seeking an Automotive Mechanic to maintain and repair our ambulance and medical transport fleet. In this critical support role, you will diagnose and service gasoline and diesel vehicles, perform preventive maintenance, and complete safety and compliance inspections to keep units patient ready. You'll collaborate with operations and clinical teams to minimize downtime, prioritize safety, and ensure reliable response for emergency and non emergency transports.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on ambulance and support vehicles
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and safety inspections to keep units in service and compliant
- Document all repairs, parts usage, and inspections in fleet maintenance systems
- Coordinate with operations and clinical staff to prioritize urgent repairs and minimize vehicle downtime
- Ensure all work follows safety, regulatory, and manufacturer standards for emergency vehicles
- Assist with new vehicle upfitting, equipment installation, and acceptance inspections
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
- Participate in ongoing technical training and stay current with evolving ambulance and fleet technology
