Maintenance Tech II

DICK'S Sporting Goods Distribution Center seeks a Maintenance Tech II to keep our high-volume wholesale operation running safely and efficiently. In this role, you'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, material-handling systems, and facility equipment to minimize downtime and support timely order fulfillment. You'll troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues, follow strict safety and Lockout/Tagout procedures, and document work in a CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, material-handling systems, and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and basic electrical issues to minimize downtime
• Follow and promote safety, including Lockout/Tagout and OSHA-compliant practices
• Use a CMMS to document work orders, parts usage, and maintenance history
• Inspect equipment regularly and identify improvement opportunities to increase reliability
• Collaborate with operations and warehouse teams to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption
• Support installation, modification, and upgrades of equipment and systems
• Respond to equipment breakdowns in a fast-paced distribution environment
• Maintain tools, parts, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development to support career growth
