Cuan Corp is a New York City–based general contracting company specializing in commercial interior construction. We have a strong team of superintendents, project managers, carpenters, and laborers and are looking to expand our carpentry staff with individuals who take pride in producing high-quality work.
This role will involve working on commercial construction projects throughout New York City with our internal team and site leadership.
Requirements Experience5
-10+ years of carpentry experience
Experience working on commercial construction projects preferred
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
Carpentry SkillsCandidates should have experience in several of the following areas:
- Framing and layout
- Base and trim installation
- Wood flooring installation
- General interior carpentry work
Candidates
do not need to be experts in every category
, but should be comfortable performing multiple carpentry-related tasks on commercial job sites.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and layouts
- Strong knowledge of carpentry tools and construction methods
- Ability to work independently when required while coordinating with site supervisors
- OSHA-30 Certification required
- Must have
own carpentry tools - Driver’s license preferred
- Ability to work on job sites throughout New York City
