HVAC​/Refrigeration Technician - In-House Restaurant Maintenance

Job Description

Restaurant group operating multiple quick-service restaurant locations throughout Long Island and are seeking an experienced HVAC and Refrigeration Technician to join our team full-time.

This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated technician who wants consistent work, a company vehicle, and the stability of working directly for an established organization rather than traveling between unrelated service calls.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems.
• Service and maintain walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, reach-in coolers, ice machines, and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems across multiple restaurant locations.
• Respond to emergency service calls and equipment breakdowns.
• Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair needs.
• Coordinate with operations and management teams to minimize downtime.
• Assist with minor electrical, mechanical, and equipment repairs when needed.

• Minimum 3 years of commercial HVAC and refrigeration experience.
• EPA Certification required.
• Experience with restaurant equipment and quick-service restaurant operations preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and repair refrigeration, HVAC, and electrical control systems.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service needs.
