Pay: $27.50 - $35.00/hour (based on experience)

We are looking for an experienced Green Roof & On-Structure Garden Installation Crew Leader to lead field operations, guide installation crews, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with the highest level of quality.

As a Crew Leader, you will play a key role in bringing green roof and landscape projects to life.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead daily field operations and direct installation crews
• Plan workflow, assign tasks, and maintain production goals
• Ensure projects meet company standards for quality, safety, and craftsmanship
• Train, mentor, and support crew members while building future leaders
• Maintain safe rooftop work practices, including PPE and fall protection requirements
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Division Managers on project progress
• Complete daily field reports and communicate jobsite updates
• Manage tools, equipment, materials, vehicles, and overall jobsite organization
• Ensure installations are completed efficiently and professionally

The ideal candidate brings:

• 3+ years of experience in construction, landscaping, or green roof installation
• Previous crew leadership or field supervision experience
• Ability to manage daily production and motivate team members
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety and quality standards
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• NYC SST 40-hour card (or ability to obtain within required timeframe)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, climb stairs, and work outdoors in different weather conditions
• Experience using digital reporting tools such as LMN and Google Workspace

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Green Roof Professional (GRP) certification
• NYC Scaffold User certification
• FDNY G-60 Torch Operator certification
• NY Flagger certification
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Forklift or aerial lift operation
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills
• Additional trade experience including:
• Carpentry
• Masonry
• Irrigation
• Pavers on pedestals
• Plumbing
• Low-voltage lighting
