Location: Jamesville

Holbrook Heating Inc is seeking an HVAC Installer for new construction and commercial projects across Central New York. In this full-time role, you'll install furnaces, AC systems, ductwork, and ventilation in residential and light commercial settings. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, laying out and assembling duct and piping, equipment start-up, and basic troubleshooting. You'll work with modern tools in a safety-focused, family-like culture that values integrity, reliability, and craftsmanship, with ongoing training, steady year-round work, and room to advance your HVAC career.

Responsibilities

  • Install HVAC systems in new residential construction and light commercial projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, duct layouts, and job specifications
  • Measure, cut, and assemble ductwork, refrigerant lines, and piping to code
  • Set, level, and connect furnaces, air handlers, condensers, and ventilation equipment
  • Perform start-up, testing, and basic troubleshooting of installed systems
  • Follow safety procedures, use PPE, and maintain a clean, organized job site
  • Collaborate with project managers, builders, and crew to meet schedules
  • Document work performed and communicate status/issues to supervisors
  • Load, unload, and secure materials, tools, and equipment for each job
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with codes and best practices
