Maintenance Technician

Dimar Manufacturing seeks a Maintenance Technician I to support precision metal fabrication operations in Cheektowaga, NY. In this hands-on role, you'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines, fabrication equipment, and facility systems to keep production running safely and reliably. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical issues, performing routine inspections, completing work orders, and documenting repairs. You'll work closely with production teams in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment, contributing to continuous improvement and long-term equipment reliability in a stable, growing company.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC and fabrication equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and basic electrical issues on production machinery
• Conduct routine inspections and document findings in maintenance records or CMMSSupport facility maintenance for building systems and equipment as needed
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve reliability
• Follow all safety, lockout/tagout, and OSHA-related procedures
• Assist with installation, setup, and alignment of new or repaired equipment

• S/lean initiatives in the maintenance area
