Commercial Refrigeration Service Tech

As a Commercial Journeyman Refrigeration Technician at Cool Sys, you will install, start up, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration systems for retail and industrial customers. Working closely with our engineering and maintenance teams, you'll perform preventive maintenance, optimize energy efficiency, and ensure safe, reliable operation of racks, cases, and controls. You'll work in the field at customer sites, using advanced tools and technical training in a safety-first, hands-on, and customer-focused environment with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Install, start up, and service commercial refrigeration systems in retail and industrial environments
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues and perform quality repairs
• Perform preventive maintenance and system optimization for efficiency and reliability
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Document work performed, parts used, and communicate findings to customers and supervisors
• Follow Cool
• Sys safety, environmental, and refrigerant-handling standards
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve complex issues
• Support on-call and emergency service needs as required
