Gas Journeyman

Cool Sys is seeking a skilled Journeyman Refrigeration Technician to install, service, and maintain commercial and industrial refrigeration systems for our HVAC wholesale customers. In this hands-on field role, you'll troubleshoot rack systems, walk-ins, and reach-ins; perform preventive maintenance; and ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation for mission-critical environments. You'll work independently and with a collaborative team, using advanced HVAC-R tools and controls while upholding a safety-first, customer-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Install, start up, and commission commercial refrigeration systems for retail and industrial customers
• Diagnose and repair rack, walk-in, and reach-in systems to ensure reliable performance
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and documentation according to Cool
• Sys standards
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control issues, recommending effective solutions
• Collaborate with customers, dispatch, and project teams to deliver safe, timely, and quality service
• Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company policies on every job
