Cool Sys is seeking a Journeyman Refrigeration professional to support our Engineering, Maintenance & Asset Management team in the HVAC wholesale industry. In this field-based role, you'll install, start up, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial refrigeration and HVAC-R systems for retail, commercial, and industrial customers. You'll work hands-on with racks, cases, and controls to ensure efficient, reliable operation. Responsibilities
- Install, start up, and commission commercial refrigeration and HVAC-R systems for retail and industrial customers
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and controls issues on racks, cases, and condensers
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and performance checks to ensure system reliability and efficiency
- Interpret drawings, schematics, and work orders to plan and execute field work safely and accurately
- Document service findings, parts used, and recommendations using company systems and processes
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and asset management teams to improve system performance
- Adhere to Cool
- Sys safety policies, industry standards, and environmental regulations for refrigerants
- Provide excellent customer service, communicate clearly with site contacts, and support a team-first culture
